Museo Insular de La Palma
The Insular Museum of La Palma is based in the Royal Convent of the Immaculate Conception of Santa Cruz de La Palma, founded by the Franciscan Order in 1508, which it shares with the José Pérez Vidal Insular Library and the General Archive of La Palma. The building is the only conventual site on the island of La Palma preserved in its entirety and stylistically stands out for the sobriety of its lines, marked by an austerity in the ornamentation and adoption of the so-called traditional Canarian architecture modes.
