The Business Association of Santa Cruz de La Palma (AEPA), together with La Palma Virtual, has launched the “Shops in Santa Cruz de La Palma in 360” project, an initiative that promotes the digitalisation of local retailers through immersive virtual tours.
The aim is to help member businesses showcase their shops in an attractive, up-to-date way, thanks to 360º virtual visits that are integrated directly into Google, Google Maps, and the websites and social media of the participating companies.
With these tours, anyone can discover the shops of Santa Cruz de La Palma from their mobile phone, computer or tablet: they can “enter” the store, see its interior and easily locate it before visiting in person. This increases visibility, customer trust and the ability to attract new clients, both residents and tourists.

Benefits for participating businesses
-
A prominent presence on Google and Google Maps with an integrated virtual tour.
-
A modern, professional image of the business, available 24/7.
-
Visual content that can be reused on websites, social media and marketing campaigns.
-
A real boost to the digitalisation and competitiveness of local commerce in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
This project is part of the Support Programme for Retail Commerce, co-funded by European funds and carried out with the collaboration of the different public administrations and business organisations that support retail in the island’s capital.
With “Shops in Santa Cruz de La Palma in 360”, AEPA continues working to ensure that the Open Shopping Area of Santa Cruz de La Palma is a benchmark for proximity, innovation and modernity, fully adapted to new digital shopping habits.
